On Sunday, June 28, we went to Powerline Pass in the morning. We parked in the Flattop Mountain parking area and Deb, Mark, Mandy & Katie (the dogs), Leah and I all went for a walk. The weather was perfect! I guess this is a good place to spot moose, but we didn't see any. There were people hiking up many of the mountains. My family currently lives in a small rural town in North Carolina, USA. In May 09, our 9yo daughter and I first traveled to China with my husband for his work . We returned home and traveled to Alaska for 3 weeks to visit my sister and her husband. In Sept 09, we returned to China for our second trip, and will be returning again.
Many people have asked me to share about our journeys, so I plan to do that here.
