Prachen monestary on the hill, Manang, Nepal

It was a long steep hike to the monastery. And I climbed that steep hill and then forgot to ask the lama to tell me the meaning of life. Doh!!!

Today was rest day in Manang to help with acclimatizing. I was quite happy that I had slept well last night. People often sleep poorly at altitude. I hope I still sleep well as we continue to go up. My body appears to be adjusting well to altitude. I have some shortness of breath, but no cough and my resting pulse remains in the mid-to-upper sixties bpm.
