Arrived in Auckland, did random official bank-account-opening and tax-number things, then left Auckland. This took about a week and a half. Ok, also spent a lot of time walking about the city and just talking to people in the hostel as well. I do kind of get why people have such a low opinion of Auckland to begin with, but when I go back in the summer and spend more time there I think I'll like it ... read more
