Not on everyone's list of places to see in the world, Albania had always been a country that appealed to me. With my pal Michael, we flew into Tirana on a warm and sunny evening in May. Comment on Skanderberg Square at Night
My aim is to visit at least 100 countries before I'm incapable of travel anymore. (Current count is 85!). Unlike a lot of fellow travellers, I tend to only dip my feet into a country, quite often only staying a day or two before heading off somewhere else.
Country numbers 54 and 55 were my first trips alone - something I never thought I'd do.
