The Cave Stream

To make the beauty of the underworld visible I mounted the camera on the tripod and placed it into the water for a 30 second exposure. During exposure time I kind of painted the picture with my flashlight. See how smooth the water has shaped the cave walls. The step right in front is about one meter high, in the background you can see a small waterfall coming down.
An Adventurous Birthday

Waking up in the nice hostel in Greymouth we had a good breakfast and started making a plan for the day. Not a usual day, it was Ira's birthday.
