5th May, 2009 Hoover Dam & Las Vegas Drove up Highway 93 today across the Hoover Dam (Lake Mead), how they built this Dam I have no idea, it is carved into the rock. Must have been pretty dry up here as the tide is out in the Dam. They are building a new 4 lane highway through that area and you will see in the photo's the construction of the bridge over the dam.
