We left Apo Island on March 14. We left early, at 8:00, hoping for calm seas and a dry trip. Of course we prepared for a wet trip, for ourselves and our bags, and it was fine. We had calm seas and arrived in Malatappi 40 minutes later, mostly dry. We walked half a mile to the main road and only had to wait 5 minutes for a jeepney to Dumagueti.
