Woke to very heavy fog,which blanketed our view of Neuschwantein. Visited Hohenschwangau Castle in the morning, built as the summer palace of the kings of Bavaria. Decorated in medieval style, of knights and legends. Here the young Ludwig grew up and was influenced in his design of Neuschwanstein.
