Von Hoi An aus bin ich weiter nach Hué, von 1802 bis 1945 die Hauptstadt Vietnams und darüber hinaus Sitz des Erzbistums Huế. Die Stadt ist berühmt wegen der prächtigen Gräber der Nguyen-Kaiser und der Ruinen der Zitadelle. Hue war auch Schauplatz der blutigsten Schlachten während der Tet-Offensive 1968.
