Resurrection Gate - Entrance to Red Square

Red Square or the 'beautiful square' was even more enchanting under a blanket of white snow. This gate is a replica of the 16th century gate and chapel which housed a religious icon believed to work miracles. Stalin had the original torn down to allow tanks easier access to Red Square for military parades.
