Today was a day for celebration. The festivities were already in full swing when I came down for Breakfast. The entire family was dressed in their best and were busy praying and organising offerings - and generally having fun. A feast had been prepared, and as honoured guest (by virtue of being the only guest staying...) I was invited to try it all. It was a nice 'n spicy affair - lots of meat ... read more

Im Alex. 22 and counting, just about to embark on 5 months of travelling before starting my first proper post graduation job. Im into my adventure sports - climbing, biking, skiing, diving, sailing, kayaking but this trip is probably going to be more about culture than sport... although I could be swayed! I love cooking (and eating!) and playing the guitar, seeing live music, and drinking alcohol.... full info
