Jaisalmer is a 276 km drive from Jodhpur. We are able to avoid the cows, goat herds, dogs and camels however, one bird was not so lucky. Jaisalmer fort was built in 1156 out of yellow sandstone. The Maharaja no longer lives there and the townspeople now occupy the inner walls of the Fort.
