Avant d'arriver à Wanaka on a longé deux grands lacs aux eaux bleu-claires et les montagnes donnent l'impression de se jetter dans le lac. On a également fait un arrêt au Puzzling World qui est un parc pour petits et grands dont les thèmes principaux sont labyrinthe géant, illusions et jeux en tout genre.
