Almoravid Koubba

The oldest building in Marrakech and the only surviving Almoravid building in Morocco. Only recently excavated in 1952, it's considered to be the root and influence of all Moroccan architecture by means of pine cones, palms and acanthus leaves as seen in the Ben Youssef Mosque.
