I have had quite a nice long break before I head to Uganda. I finished my classes for Fall semester almost 3 weeks ago and still have another 5 days or so before I begin my travels. Thus far, Valerie (my classmate who will be participating in the internship with me) and I have been scrambling trying to find housing since we received news that we would be based in Kampala (where it is much more e ... read more

I am a graduate student at The George Washington University studying public health with a concentration in global health. I am going to be taking part in an internship with TASO (The AIDS Support Organization) located in Kampala, Uganda from January to May. I don't know what I want to do with my degree just yet but am considering trying to work with USAID or World Vision. Well, that's enough about me.... full info
