3 Nov - early start for a MAMMOTH drive. We leave at 7am and don't arrive at Hogsback until 13 hours later. However, picturesque drive along the Wild Coast through the Eastern Cape, the poorest region of South Africa. We reach 'Away with the Fairies' hostel at Hogsback, in the dark about 8.30pm. Welcome to Darling's Travels: From Bellshill to Bangkok and Beyond :) 14 month round the world trip which, at the moment, will cover London to Aqaba overland, Morocco, Southern Africa, India, Thailand (bring on the cats and dogs!), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Australia, New Zealand, San Francisco and Canada... phew.
