Float planes on Kenai fjord

Off the road, the only way in was to fly in or go by boat to reach these isolated small settlements.

The second half of our busy week was centered around Seward and the Kenai Fjords. It was an early morning train departure from Anchorage, but this ride was even more scenic than the ride to Denali.
