I got a 9am train fro Lucerne and made it into Interlaken at about 11am. Even though Switzerland is a small country, having to cross the mountains by train makes it a bit slower than usual (yes, I know that's obvious). Interlaken literally means "between lakes", with Lake Brienz to the east and Lake Thun to the west. The thing I noticed most about the lakes when passing them in the train was th ... read more
