Thursday 30th October. Today was a lovely, sunny day. We wandered the short distance to the Wharf for the fast ferry over the township of Russell, briefly in 1840 New Zealand’s capital. I am a "young" traveller from just outside of Canberra, the capital of Australia and have just recently retired. For the past several years I wanted to do some volunteer work in orphanages in Vietnam and this "dream" came true for me in 2006 and I returned again in 2007 to Vietnam and Thailand.
