This clock is incredibly complicated; legend has it that the king blinded the creator of the clock so that he couldn't design anything else like it. ouch.

You don't realize how culturally warped we are until see the city gates to a place more than 900 years old and the first thought you can muster is, "Gee, that looks like Disneyland."
