Jewish Quarter in Old Town
September 3rd 2008 Today we visited the entire Jewish Quarter in Old Town Prague. Our walk was laced with synagogues dating back to the 13th Century. It was a fascinating trek through Holocaust memorials (Pinkas Synagogue) to private Synagogues for the rich (Maisel Synagogue) who financed the Hapsburg king, through a Moorish-style Spanish Synagogue to an amazing plateau of a cemetery where 17,000 Jewish dead had to
