Election Fever

PM Thaksin (the one who was gonna buy Liverpool last Summer!)isn't very popular at the moment. Protests have been held all over Thailand against his alleged corruption so he called an election pledging to stand down if he doesn't receive 50% of the vote. (They don't serve alcohol anywhere the day before an election!)

Bonjourno, we managed to get to Hat Yai and book into a cheap hostel on 1st April.
