Wed 21st May 2008 Today I took the ferry across the Cook Strait to the North Island, first stop the capital Wellington. Was a long old day, left Kaikoura at 8:30 and got into Wellington about 5:00. I'm a 22 year old that's finally been let loose into the big, wide world - yee haa!! I'm scooting off to South Africa first - never mind the humans, I'm going to monkey rehab! - then toddling on over to Oz where I shall fly into Sydney and hopefully mosy on up to Cairns.
