Duomo in Firenze

I think it's made of marble, the exterior is covered in statues and paintings. It's spectacular.

Florence was nice, we had a wander around looking at all the statues and the Duomo which has a fantastic exterior and lovely paintings on the ceiling. Then thought we should throw in some culture but after waiting almost 2 hours to get in to the Uffizi Gallery we quickly got bored looking at so many dull religious paintings.
