I awoke, had a sauna and then Jumped on the train to Kobe. Its occured to me that I am familiar with most Japanese cities for the wrong reasons. Tokyo subway attacks, Osaka - wasnt that the general area of a massive mercury poisoning, and Kobe for the earthquake. Ah well. Im Alex. 22 and counting, just about to embark on 5 months of travelling before starting my first proper post graduation job. Im into my adventure sports - climbing, biking, skiing, diving, sailing, kayaking but this trip is probably going to be more about culture than sport... although I could be swayed!
