Loosely Sprung

Our room in Kratie. The beds were so loosely sprung they felt like lying on waterbeds. Note the lack of facilities but it was reasonably clean.

As Graham and I leave Vietnam behind and travel up the river to Cambodia, we notice the houses become fewer and the jungle much thicker. We also notice how much higher the riverbanks are (10-15 feet) to ensure there is no flooding during the rainy season. We eventually moor at the Cambodian border crossing.
