With the stench of rotten eggs assaulting our nostrils, we head into Roturua. There is no way of escaping the smell of sulphur, due to the thermal activity in this area. Our first stop "Kuirau Park" where you can see hot pools, boiling mud and are able to take a paddle in the thermal pools for free.
