Mountain View

The lodge, which was situated atop the mountain on a large rock outcrop, provided spectacular views of the private game reserve. You can see some of the dirt road tracks winding through the reserve...but many times we had the Land Rover off road driving over trees, roots, bushes and such.

I touched down in South Africa at 6am local time and was glad to find the hotel my parent's had booked was only 60 meters from the terminal.
