New Years was really different, very few of the brasilians appeared to be intoxicated at midnight. theyd been setting off fireworks all week, including in the daytime, so you can imagine how many they set off at actual midnight. everyone wears white and does traditional stuff like jump over 7 waves and send things into the ocean and wear certain colours of underwear according to what they want in ... read more
