...but the blog is not. Darrin successfully completed the Northern Forest Canoe Trail at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 1, when he pulled into shore along the St. John River in Fort Kent, Maine. NFCT Journey
Darrin L. Kimbler solo thru-paddled the 740-mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail (NFCT), an historic water trail through the forests of New York, Vermont, Quebec, New Hampshire, and Maine. His journey was completed over 50 days, from August 12 - October 1, 2007. The water trail was officially established in September 2006; and Darrin was one of the first fifteen people to complete a thru-paddle.
