Sept 16 & 17 Stayed at Namtso Lake (4700m) for 2 days and 1 night. A very holy lake for Tibetans with many peole walking the Kora (a spiritual walk following a certain route) around the rocky outcrop whilst chanting and taking in the spectacular lake and mountain scenery. Well, I started my sabbatical July 1, 2007 and I have a year to refresh myself, explore the world...and analyse data, submit some publications, and present at conferences ! I wish I could send you personal emails to keep in touch but I just don't have the time nor inclination to huddle over a computer in a dark internet cafe corner when the exciting world outside is beckoning me to explore, play and adventure !
