Southern Ecuador and the Hornets Nest at the Border

I have a love hate relationship with Cuenca. I love it because it is the best city in Ecuador. It´s not even close. I hate it because we studied so long in Quito instead of Cuenca. People in southern Ecuador are very friendly. Our cabbie even said our spanish was good.
