There were still no golden doves to be found in the forest the next morning, or much else (but I'd pretty much got most of what I was after the day before anyway so that was alright). When we got back to Raintree, Robyn went fishing. There was a sign at the counter saying that if you could catch a fish in the lake then they would cook it for you for free. I live in New Zealand. I started this blog when going on a 2006 trip through Malaysia and Thailand for three months to see the wildlife. The first 43 blog entries are for that trip, followed by ones from around NZ, Fiji, and Australia looking at animals. After another trip into southeast Asia for six months, mainly in Indonesia, I took a short sojourn into New Caledonia. Now I'm heading back into Indonesia for a couple of months.
