I woke up today with one mission: find the overland route through the mountains to Bottle Beach. On the way, I paid a Thai woman 50 baht to show me her "Lizard Farm". She had 3 6ft + monitor lizards! And a gigantic boa constrictor. Apparently, they are native to the island, and the locals hunt them in the mountains with dogs, and then.... they eat them! I found the trail, headed up.
