Was sadly time to leave Koh Tao and the brilliant diving, so caught 1 1/2 hour catamaran back to the Thai mainland port of Chumporn and then a bus north for around 4 hours to Hua Hin on the east coast of Thailand. Had a bit of a wander around the town and the pier (which really stank of fish).
