Greetings, So we were supposed to head off to our rural rotation yesterday (monday), but due to the heavy monsoon rains and flooding our trip was postponed. I am travelling to Mumbai, India for the month of July to learn about clinical infectious diseases and public health. I will be working in various hospitals throughout the city observing common infectious and tropical diseases that affect this region, such as TB, malaria, dengue fever, typhoid, polio and HIV/AIDS.
