After catching up with friends in Tweed Heads and Brisbane we returned to Cairns and resumed our trip, making our way across to the Gulf Country around Normanton and Burketown. Starting in Cairns and travelling to every good spot we can find this is a blog of Jack and Christine's trip around Australia in 07/08. We left our home base in Canberra in August and have been based in Cairns, Far North Queensland since September. We have a Toyota Hilux 4x4 fitted out and hopefully we can make it to some of the remostest parts of the country.
