Well, we are finally nearing the end of our time in China. We had our appointment at the US consulate on Thursday and had the swearing in ceremony. I now have all of Mia's visa paperwork and when we return to the US on Sunday, she will become a US citizen the moment she steps (or is carried) onto US soil. My Red Thread journey began two and a half years ago. Well, really it started in 2003 when I met my friend MaryBeth's adorable daughter Isabel.
