Located in Lesser Town Square, this church, designed by Kristof Dienzenhofer and built between 1704-1755 (completed by architect Anselmo Lurago), is considered the most significant historical Baroque structure in Prague.
Tour of Mala Strana (or "The Day I Found Chico, the Wax Baby Jesus, Palacincky, and the John Lennon Wall") June 13th 2007 We started our day off by taking the metro from Namesti Republicky to Nadroni Trida. We then transferred to Tram 22 and rode it past the Prague Castle to the Belvedere Palace. The palace, a Renaissance style building, was the summer palace of Queen Anne and was built in the 1500's. When I was 8 years old, I went to summer camp for the first time. Whereas other kids were getting homesick as soon as they got there, I instead got sick the day I had to go home again. The travel bug caught me early and has lingered ever since. I LOVE to see new places, experience new cultures, eat new food... life is so short and there are so many places to see!
