The Laurentian Library was designed by Michelangelo. This vestibule is filled by the staircase that spills from the space of the library and gigantic columns and pilsters that make the interior walls look like they should be exterior.
Another stair to climb for every picture I couldn't take...

I’m sort of at a loss for words of what to say about my gorgeous weekend in Florence… Florence is beautiful. It was a little smaller than I expected, but that’s one of the things that made it such a nice weekend.
