My neighborhood is located one mile west of the city center and is arranged around the Polish Roman Catholic Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, which can be seen in the background of this photo.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to my birthplace, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Grand Rapids is located about thirty minutes from the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan.
