So much has happened since I first arrived on the last day of February. Classes at OPA, the Organization for Permaculture and Art, started later than planned, but are now at full swing. I have been volunteering here, co-teaching a photography class, documenting the theater class, and working on odd projects. I have planned an extensive travel trip to Brazil. It was here that my mother grew up, and it is the culture she instilled in me living in me. I have a lot of my family here, though it´s been a while since I´ve seen them. So, I took this time post college graduation to visit my kin, get back to my roots, give back to the community, and kick it in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Besides Brazil, I will also be going to Peru for a month, to visit some of the country´s ancient historical sites.... full info
