Seen one castle...seen them all?

Iwakuni Castle is the third castle I've seen in Japan now. Like all other castles (or so it seems) it was reconstructed to its present state in 1962. This is Alexis and Heather relaxing in front of the castle. The castle did offer a fun cable car ride to reach it, as it sits on a hill, and a lovely view of Iwakuni!

As this was another long weekend in Japan, the country for long weekends (hurrah!) a day trip was in order.
