Day 2 - Langeais to Gageac, A no drama good day

This morning we woke from a 10 hour sleep refreshed and ready for another day. After enjoying a lovely breakfast that had been prepared by the Inn keeper, (she lost money on John), we headed out to visit the Chateau of Langeais, first built in 1465 by the King of France, Louise XI. The Cat Herder Gold Rush

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired.
