Lila is my Jewish sister from another mother. Born in Argentina, many of her relatives now live in Israel. She has connected me to the tiny Jewish community here in Baños.

Greetings from beautiful Baños! I have spent the last several months pretty much as a homebody, with a few short trips here and there. I find that I can spend days on end at home without even going into town (a mere 5 minute drive from my house!). No reason to 'brave the outside world'.
