"King's Magazine (also commonly called the fort or Citadel)...tabby ruin originally 20 feet wide by 96 feet long. Today the powder magazine, consisting of two brick-vaulted rooms 38 feet long, is the only remaining portion of the south section. Only wall stubs remain in the northern half. The King's Magazine served as the entryway to the fort complex, storage for gun powder, offices and prison".
