The first trip we took once i was back on my feet was to Nafplio, a port town in the Peloponese about 2.5 hrs out of Athens. It was said to be charming and contain an important fortress. loulee

"Loulee" is what my parents often called me as a child. In Greek "louloothi" means flower, and as greeks perpetually make pet names, "Loulee" became mine. A true Greco-American or "misi-misi" (half-n-half), I was born in Athens and made the move to America at the age of 6 with my parents.
