Top of the Duomo

We had to have proof that we made it up the 490 steps (I think the number keeps growing!) What a view of the city though! Climbing up it put into perspective how amazing it was that they finished building this huge dome in 1436!

Beautiful Firenze! (Florence)

So after our night train, we arrived in beautiful Florence. Most of us slept pretty well, but Joe woke up once to the train just sitting silently on the tracks, and I think that was a little creepy.
