South Island update

New Zealand may be cold but it definitely rocks! It's pretty different to Australia too. I joined the Kiwi Experience bus which has been a great laugh and have met so many new friends.

Highlights so far...

Fancy dress party in Lake Mahinapua : Sarah- Jane and I dressed as Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles and our outfits weren't too bad considering we hardly had any time at all to prepare and all the shops were closed for Easter.

Glacier hiking in Franz Josef - a full day hike through the glacier and munching on easter eggs at the top!

Partying in Queenstown and having Fergburger on the way home at 3am!

Dolphin swiming at Kaikoura - despite having to get up at 5am to swim with the dolphins at sunrise we had a spectacular day ans swam with approximately 600-700 dolphins. they were so playful and doing acrobatics in the water, jumping and doing somersaults and all completely wild!

Lowlights - serious toothache over the easter weekend and a NZ$300 bill from the dentist, plus 5 days off alcohol whilst on the antibiotics!!
