South Island road trip week 3:

Makarora - a place to camp on the edge of Mount Aspiring National Park
Lake Hawea - a DoC $6 campsite on the edge of Lake Hawea. BEAUTIFUL views, right on a rocky beach, but tons of bees flying around my ouzo.
Wanaka - an awesome slightly heady lake town filled with boutiques, bars, the coolest movie theater ive been to, hikes, and bike rides.
Tarras - a 3 building town which is home of the most famous New Zealand sheep, Shrek
Lindis Valley - a DoC free campsite at the location of an old gold rush hotel in ruins. Our last big night with tenty so it was partytime.
